11/05 - Stix Finish 6th At Easton Elite College Showcase

Congratulations to the team for their 6th place finish at the 2005 Fall Easton Elite College Showcase held in McKinney, TX.  60 teams from 10 states competed in the elite tournament November 11-13.  College coaches from around the country were also at the tournament.

The Stix finished pool play with 4 wins and 1 extra inning loss to the Texas Sox to advance to single elimination bracket play on Sunday.  On Sunday, the Stix lost to 3rd place Texas Glory Gold to end the tournament with a 4-2 record.  

The team returns to the DFW area on November 19 to be part of the University of Texas at Arlington Round Robin.  Other teams participating in the round robin tournanment include the Texas Elite (Grand Prairie), the Texas Glory Gold (McKinney), the Texas Peppers Gold (Houston), and the MC Elite Gold (Magnolia).
