Texas Stix Gold College Commitments

Class of 2009 Recruits

Congratulations to our Texas Stix players who have committed to play softball at the college level in the 2009 - 2010 school year.

Samantha Beeson, a senior at Bowie High School, has signed with The University of Texas at San Antonio. Samantha plays 1B for state 5-A runner up Bowie and for the Texas Stix Gold.  

Haylee Staton, a senior at Westwood High School, has signed with The University of Texas at San Antonio. Haylee pitches and plays infield for the Texas Stix Gold, and her Westwood varsity team.
 


Amanda Wilhelm, a senior at Round Rock High School, has signed with Angelo State University. Amanda plays infield for the Texas Stix Gold, and her Round Rock varsity team. 
 

Andrea Porter, a senior at Bowie High School, has committed to Western Texas College. Andrea is an outfielder for the Texas Stix Gold, and her Bowie varsity team. 
 


Keelie Mims, a senior at Salado High School, has committed to Paris Junior College. Keelie is an outfielder for the Texas Stix Gold, and her Salado varsity team. 
 

Class of 2008 Recruits

Congratulations to the Texas Stix Gold seniors who have signed their national letters of intent to play softball at the college level in the 2008-2009 school year.


Alley Burgert, a senior at Georgetown High School, has signed with Texas Wesleyan University. Allley plays for the Texas Stix Gold ATX, and has lettered for 3 years at Georgetown. 


Allison Geisler , a senior at Vista Ridge HIgh School, has signed with Louisiana Tech University.  Allison plays catcher for the Texas Stix Gold, and her Vista Ridge varsity team. 

 


Nikki Goff, a senior at Vista Ridge High School, has signed with the University of Louisiana Lafayette.  Nikki plays for the Texas Stix Gold, and has lettered for 3 years at Vista Ridge. 


Shelby Lujan , a senior at Connally High School, has signed with Southwestern University.  Shelby plays for the Texas Stix Gold.


Brittany Mack , a senior at Westwood High School, has signed with Louisiana State University.  Brittany pitches for the Texas Stix Gold, and is the all state pitcher for her Westwood varsity team. 


Alyson Pulver, a senior at Vista Ridge High School, has signed with Southwestern University.  Alyson plays for the Texas Stix Gold ATX and her Vista Ridge Team. Alyson was 1st team all state as a junior in 2007.

Elizabeth Rojo, a senior at TAFT ISD has signed with Concordia University. Elizabeth plays catcher for the Texas Stix Gold, and her Taft High School varsity team. 

Sarah Russell , a senior at Richland High School, has signed with East Central University. Sarah plays outfield / infield for the Texas Stix Gold, and was 1st team all district her sophomore and junior years for her Richland High varsity team. 


Chrissy Short , a senior at Westwood High School, has signed with Louisiana Tech University.  Chrissy playes 2B and outfield for the Texas Stix Gold, and 2B and SS for her Westwood varsity team. 

Laine Strickland, a senior at McNeil High School, has signed with Nicholls State University.  Laine plays in the outfield for the Texas Stix Gold, and for her McNeil varsity team. 


Megan Updyke, a senior at Westwood High School, has committed to LSU - Eunice. Megan plays outfield and infield for the Texas Stix Gold ATX, and her Westwood varsity team. 

Krisin Wehmeyer , a senior at Round Rock High School, has committed to The University of Texas at San Antonio. Kristin plays catcher for the Texas Stix Gold, and for her Round Rock varsity team.

Congratulations to the Texas Stix Gold players that have committed to play softball at the college level in the 2007-2008 school year.


Kelsey Cogdell, a senior at McNeil High School, has verbally committed to St. Edwards University.  Kelsey playes shortstop, second base and outfield for the Texas Stix Gold, and is the shortstop for her McNeil varsity team. 

 


Carrie Monroe, a senior at Westwood High School, has verbally committed to Iowa State University.  Carrie plays shortstop and outfield for the Texas Stix Gold, and is the shortstop for her Westwood varsity team. 


Kaylen Skinner, a senior at 2006 state 5-A final four Smithson Valley High School, has verbally committed to Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi.  Kaylen plays catcher, first base and outfield for the Texas Stix Gold, and plays first base for her Smithson Valley varsity team. 

Jamie Barbosa, a senior at Westwood High School, has committed to Sterling College in Sterling, Kansas. Jamie plays outfield and catcher for the Texas Stix Gold, and is an outfielder for her Westwood varsity team. 

Ashley Johnson, a senior at Vista Ridge High School, has committed to Austin College in Sherman, Texas. Ashley plays pitcher, outfield & third base for the Texas Stix Gold, and is a pitcher for her Vista Ridge varsity team. 

Stix Recruits
